NORTHERLY GIVE-BACK PROGRAM
Northerly’s give-back program is the foundation of our brand. Every purchase of our grains results in a predetermined product donation being supplied to our hunger relief partners. For each 2 lbs of rolled oats sold, we donate three servings of rolled oats to our hunger relief partners. We work closely with our partners to schedule food deliveries, typically semi-annually, at their convenience. Upon completion of the delivery, our hunger relief partners retain full control of the rolled oats and can distribute them at their discretion.
We reserve the right at any time to modify, suspend, or cancel the give-back program. Any changes we make will be effective immediately upon action, which we may give by posting new Terms and Conditions on the website.
FOR THE GRAINER GOOD
For the Grainer Good is a brand of Northerly that coordinates community-based projects and giving initiatives.
THE CLIMB AND GIVE PROGRAM
During the For the Grainer Good Climb and Give program, Northerly’s CEO, Clayton B. R. Wolfe, pledges to donate one serving of rolled oats per foot climbed during his attempt to climb the seven highest mountains on seven continents (“7 Summits” or “Climb and Give”). In coordination with For the Grainer Good’s hunger relief partners, food donations will be scheduled typically semi-annually. For the Grainer Good’s Climb and Give program will raise up to 142,126 servings of food (1 serving per foot climbed). The final donation amount will be equal to the actual number of feet climbed. Canceled, incomplete, or unattempted climbs due to illness, injury, weather, or force majeure, may reduce the total number of servings donated. Distribution of accrued servings of food will occur following the completion of the final climb and may occur at smaller increments before the final climb as needed by our hunger relief partners. The final donation(s) will occur no later than December 2021.
